My philosophy is that a well-done, well-promoted web site is one of the greatest investments a business of any size can have. My first site, I actually did as a fund-raiser for a church trip. I did the site, and the guy never told anyone about it, never promoted it, didn't put it on a business card or anything. I don't think that he has ever gotten a single order from his site. On the other hand, I made one in the summer of '06 for a company, they put it on their business cards, pens, shop trucks, paper, absolutely everything that had their name on it had the website right next to it. They have worked hard to make sure everyone knows where their site is. They have confirmed over $10,000 of sales just from their website. It is obvious that I cannot promote your site for you, but I can, and will endeavour to give you the best site possible, letting anyone who visits know exactly what you're about, and giving plenty of information about you to even the most casual of visitors.
